How to create mobile apps in three easy steps
Intrexx 5 enables companies not only to create enterprise portals for Desktop PCs, but also to build web applications for mobile devices such as the iPhone, BlackBerry and others in no time at all. Within 3 simple steps you can access applications on your smartphone:
- First you create the core of the application via drag and drop in the Intrexx module “Applications”.
- After selecting the desired mobile device, you can select the type of site and the data fields that are to be shown on the device, out of pre-defined lists.
- Intrexx will do the rest: You will get a proposal for an application page which is optimised for the corresponding mobile device (iPhone, BlackBerry etc.) including the appropriate buttons and logics.
There is no easier or faster way to make your data mobile. Go on and give it a try! In case you aren’t using Intrexx yet, you can download the new version of Intrexx Professional
here.
Webinar: Create and maintain Enterprise Portals
For companies that are considering taking a portal approach to business, the United Planet Webinars provide an invaluable overview of the development process.
Intrexx is known for its ability to help businesses create Enterprise Portals and web applications quickly and easily. In this Webinar we will demonstrate how it is done and explain all different modules of Intrexx such as Portal Designer, Application Designer, Process Manager and User Manager.
Workshop: The search function in version 5.0
Nearly all Intrexx applications contain a main page named “Search”, which allows searching for terms within the application. In version 5.0 it is now possible to create more search functions with the help of the view element “Search”.
