This Adapter allows users to manage Microsoft Office documents directly on the Enterprise Portal.The new Business Adapter makes Intrexx Xtreme a smart and cost effective alternative to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and will enable companies to:
- Integrate Microsoft Office documents easily into the portal. Excel tables with sales statistics, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents, from MS Office 2003 onwards, can now be edited and stored in the portal without using the upload and download mechanisms required until now. The costly upgrade to MS Office 2007 is not necessary and you can centrally manage all documents.
- Embed documents into workflows and link them to existing business processes, creating a comprehensive document management platform that enables seamless interaction between documents and processes.
- Design portal layout, develop applications or processes in a short period. Calculate project development time and costs precisely.
