Intrexx 5 – The Mobile Maker
Imagine if you could access from your BlackBerry or iPhone parts of an enterprise application or even the entire application. You could, for example, call up phone messages from the office or at any time view the most current customer data, sales numbers, or service and product data. There are numerous applications that would be very useful on the road. But how should that work? Naturally, you could hire an external programmer to develop an in-house specific solution. However, most of the time this takes not only a long time, but also costs a large amount of money.
We have a quicker and more cost-effective solution for you:
Just as easily and quickly as you create web-based applications with Intrexx for the desktop PC, you can do the same for your smartphone. This means you will not only receive an insight on your iPhone into the most current business data, rather, you can go beyond this and actively influence the processes in the business at any time. For example, you can edit vacation or investment requests for your employees, reserve a conference room, or audit an invoice. Therefore, you can finally say goodbye to holdups in important processes, just because someone is currently on a business trip. And it works so simply:
1. Design
With the Application Designer in Intrexx, click together the desired application, with menu, input forms, and data views (lists).
2. Select device
Simply choose the desired device. Intrexx will automatically generate an application that is designed for the special requirements of the selected device.
3. Create a shortcut
Create a shortcut to the application on the homescreen of your smartphone, so that you can comfortably call it up later.

To create the mobile applications, the entire range of functions of all modules in Intrexx are also available to you: filters, process trees, web services, data integration, etc. This lets you, for example, integrate data from your inventory or ERP system via an Intrexx application into your enterprise portal, then make it available on your smartphone. The connection to the existing systems can take place with read and write access here.
