Gartner Summit 2010


United Planet is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Gartner Portals, Content & Collaboration Summit 2010, taking place on the 15th and 16th of September 2010 in London, United Kingdom.

During the two day event, United Planet will show how companies can use the Intrexx portal platform to create Web applications without the need for any programming and how an Intrexx Enterprise Portal supports collaboration and real-time access to important business information at any time and any place.

Preview: The Exchange adapter for Intrexx

Starting this autumn, you will be able to access all Microsoft Exchange Server elements and your personal mailbox and integrate them in the web interface of your Intrexx portal. Whether it's e-mails, tasks, appointments or contacts, with the new business adapter for Microsoft Exchange, you can edit all information directly and in real-time within the portal.

The adapter enables you to create your own applications using information from Microsoft Exchange Server – this is just as easy as integrating external data with Intrexx. For example, you can access your personal Outlook mailbox and the e-mails it contains using your customer management system. Or you can add contacts to your personal address book very simple. The options are virtually unlimited.

Other applications are included with the adapter to offer you a variety of options to access your e-mails, contacts, tasks, notes and appointments. You can also use the resources view to access calendars shared by your colleagues, allowing you to create comprehensive work schedules. Nonetheless, the adapter adheres to the individual authorisations of all mailboxes at all times.
